0 Permanently Deleting Facebook

In watching the news I have found out that one of the easiest ways for people to find out information about you, see your previous "Status Posts" and show your pictures to the World is by using facebook. It used to be myspace and now it is facebook.

We use this online programming indiscriminately, posting images of our family, workplace, homes, towns, have information about the places we work and the complete name found on our Birth Certificates. No wonder when something really big happens, news organizations scramble to facebook and harass your friends to give them access to your page and pictures.

Something scandalous is happening in your family and you HAVE TO get rid of that page fast, or else you're just like me and don't want your boss sniffing around on your page looking for some reason to get you fired.

Follow these instructions to delete your page!
  1. Remove every connection site you have on facebook. Remember Farmville and Mob Wars? Yup! They have GOT TO GO! If you are not sure which ones you are connected to, you can check this link to refresh your memory.
  2. Remove all linked sites (twitter etc) that are connected to your facebook and create accounts on those sites that will allow you to login without facebook.
  3. Go to this link to PERMANENTLY DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.
  4. You will receive an email that will say your account will be deleted in 14 days. During this time you MUST refrain from logging back into facebook, clicking a facebook like button or logging onto any site using your facebook information. KEEP AWAY!!
  5. If this process fails, you can email facebook at privacy@facebook.com and ask them to delete the page.
There is never any guarantee that all your information on facebook will be deleted. If authorities request the information and they have it, they will pass it along, but at least it will not be available for public consumption protecting you and your family from scandal.

Remember to stay safe on your social media connections!

0 Online Chat

In 2004 I went through a terrible breakup. I had been completely consumed with the relationship that I failed to properly maintain my friendships. As a result I found myself without a shoulder to cry on and a completely empty life.

After picking myself up from the floor and changing stuff around, I decided to venture into online communities and threw myself 100% into the experience.

The result of that has been some really strong reliable friendships that have stood the test of time and (more importantly) my weird neuroses.

My mission has become one that encourages people to develop healthy relationships with other people online who may (or may not) be different from yourself. Learn something new, understand another person's perspective and allow yourself to fully enjoy the process of discovering another human being. It enforces the humanity in all of us.

So in line with that mission I bring you TinyChat.com where you can video chat with people you know, discover communities geared towards you own interests and discover new things about someone else.

Enjoy!
