Nothing stirred up unnecessary emotion and violent bursts of "dey tuk urr jobs" from the far right than the idea that the poor would be allowed access to health care. It prompted all kinds of TV segments, investigative reports, movies and articles about the benefits of a socialized health care system.
So when I found this video online, I thought I ought to share it with our growing community of readers just so we could understand why this issue is important, not just to the poor and disenfranchised, but also ultimately to ourselves.
